About the event
Are workshop formats challenging for you to learn choreography and perform right away? Come learn a piece of choreography at a slower pace, practice at home and be confident in front of the camera! Over the course of 3 weeks, you will learn fundamentals in Hip Hop, House, Afro and Bollywood dance styles, while learning choreography. You will receive individualized feedback with the ability to go practice these skills at home. During the last session, you will have the opportunity to record your hard work in front of a camera and your new dance friends!
If you are unable to attend all classes, you can purchase a single ticket and learn part of the choreography!

About SQB: Shakti Queen Beats is a Chicago-based dance company and brand founded by Simron Sahoo, offering services including performances, event choreography, and classes. Since our launch in the beginning of 2019, we have built a foundation for teaching Indian dance with Western influences to achieve our vision of a larger dance community that blends both cultures.
